About Kanha National Park
Kanha National Park fascinates many visitors due to its tropical central highlands making a habitat for the wild animals. It is best known for the large varieties of wild creatures including Barasingha and the Indian Tiger in good numbers. Famously known as “Bhoor Singh”, the barasingha (deer) serves as a symbol to create awareness about wildlife preservation. Along with the spectacular lush green surroundings for the ultimate sight-seeing moment, the park is home to huge number of species of flowering plants. Core and buffer are of the jungle are part where jeep safari is permitted for wildlife tourism. The Core Zones of Kanha are: Kanha, Sarahi, Mukki and Kisli and the Buffer Zones of Kanha are: Khatia, Sijhora, Phen and Khapa.
