Arrive into Kathmandu, where you will stay for two nights. The afternoon is at leisure – an opportunity to explore the city at your own pace.
Today, visit the 2,000-year-old Swayambhunath Temple, situated on the outskirts of the main marketplace, followed by Durbar Square, home to the temple of the Living Goddess Kumari. In the afternoon, visit Pashupatinath, Nepal’s most important temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva, and return via the magnificent Bodnath Stupa.
This morning, travel to Pokhara, where you will stay for two nights. Set on the banks of Phewa Lake, Pokhara is considered the hub of adventure tourism in Nepal. In the afternoon, enjoy boating on the lake, with spectacular views of the Annapurnas.
This morning, enjoy a tour of the Pokhara Valley, visiting the city, the Tibetan Camp, the New Market, and Gupteshwor Cave. The afternoon is free at leisure.
Today you return to Kathmandu, where you will stay for one night.
Early morning, you may take an optional tour to the 17th-century town of Nagarkot. Later today, depart Kathmandu for home.
